Gym Tonic is designed for seniors to build strength physically and interact socially with members of the community.

Ways We Support

Education and Guidance

At our gyms, our trained professionals educate and supervise the seniors on the safe and right way to build strength.

Beyond the strength-building exercises in our gym, we also guide seniors on using resistance bands so that they can continue training on their own at home.

Pre- and Post-Assessment

At the start of the programme, seniors are assessed on their baseline fitness to understand their condition and identify areas for improvement. A post-assessment is done after 12 weeks of training to track their progress.

Structured and Supervised Group Training

Seniors will undergo 12 weeks of strength training with two sessions per week. Each session spans 40-50 minutes of structured training under the guidance of our wellness trainers.

FAQs

Seniors who are:

  • 55 years and above
  • Able to commit twice weekly
  • Able to walk
  • Able to follow simple instructions

For seniors with medical conditions (e.g. stroke, diabetes), a doctor’s letter is required.

Our fees are between $5 to $12 per session. Programmes are typically 12 or 24 sessions.

Our Gym Tonic programmes are not eligible for:

  • Government subsidies and discounts
  • SkillsFuture credits
  • Pioneer Generation and Merdeka cardholders
  • ActiveSG credits
