About the Activity
Care Corner's Senior Care Centre provide a full day programme for seniors to form social connection through social and recreational activities with their peers. This will also provide caregiver respite so that they can recharge and restore a sense of balance to their lives.
Volunteers Must Be:
- Able to commit on a weekly basis for at least 6 months
- Available from 9am-1pm once a week during the weekdays
- Minimally 21 years old
- Friendly, patient and welcoming
- Physically fit to assist visitors with physical disabilities
- Good phone etiquette
Volunteers Are Required To:
- Attend to walk-in enquires
- Greeting, screening and attendance taking of visitors
- Informing staff about visitors
- Assist seniors with mobility issues
- Answer the centre phone
