About the Activity:
🎄✨ Embrace the spirit of giving this holiday season by joining us as a volunteer for our Christmas Celebration on 3 December!
This festive extravaganza aims to bring joy to our seniors, and we invite you to be a part of the heartwarming experience. From being the MCs, make-up volunteers to ushers, your support will make a meaningful impact. Let's create lasting memories, spread holiday cheer, and strengthen our community bonds. Join us to make this Christmas Celebration an unforgettable celebration of love and kindness! 🤝🌟
Volunteers Must Be:
- Minimally 18 years old
- Bilingual. Knowing one more language or dialect would be a plus
- Know how to handle wheelchairs
Volunteers are expected to:
a. Emcees for the day
- Speak to the audience and introduce the programmes in a lively and fun manner
- Encourage participation from the seniors for the various segments of the programmes.
- Converse in English and Mandarin
b. Hair stylist/make-up artiste/ushers
- Style the contestants' hairs and do make-up for them
- Be ushers for the day to direct the seniors to their tables
c. Ferry wheelchair-bound seniors
- Bring wheelchair-bound seniors or those with difficulty in walking from their home to the van to Jubilee Gardens and then back to the van and home.
d. Ushers
- Register seniors who are coming for the event
- Usher the seniors to the seats/toilets/stage
- Engage the seniors in the games segments
