If anyone in your home makes you feel anxious or threatened., do seek help. Should you be in immediate danger, call 999 for the police or go to your nearest neighbourhood police post or centre. Alternatively, you may call 24-hr hotline SOS 1800 221 4444.
Application of Personal Protection Order (PPO)
We assist victims of family abuse in their PPO application with the Family Justice Courts via video conferencing. If you are below the age of 21, you will require a parent, guardian or an appointed social worker to apply on your behalf. To apply for a PPO, call us at 64761482 or head down to the Family Justice Courts.
Support for individuals and families
Groupwork
We conduct group work sessions to provide a safe platform for victims with similar experiences of family violence to learn, share and support each other. The sessions aim to reduce the barriers of shame, isolation and loneliness that often surround households threatened by family abuse. You can draw comfort, encouragement and empowerment from each other in your respective journeys towards healing and restoration.
Partnership and collaboration
Alongside key stakeholders and community partners, we organise community engagement and public education to raise awareness on family violence and equip residents in the community with the knowledge to support neighbours who may be victims. As family violence can happen to anyone around us, the community is an important source of support.
Email us at projectstart@carecorner.org.sg for enquiries or collaboration opportunities.
