SHORT VIDEO COMPETITION

Care Corner Singapore is a non-profit, charitable organisation established since 1981 with an Institution of a Public Character [IPC] status that reaches out to the vulnerable, disadvantaged and isolated in the Singapore community.

 

In our effort to raise social awareness and the spirit of volunteerism, we have decided to embark on our very first short video competition. It aims to empower all youths in exploring their videography or animation skills by creating inspiring social stories through their youthful eyes and stand a chance to win up to $2,000. 

 

Eligibility:

  • The competition is open to all students aged 17-35 from one of the registered Junior Colleges & Millennia Institutes, Institute of Technical Education (ITE), Polytechnic, Arts institutions, Universities in Singapore.

  • The competition is open to both individual participant and group participation. ​

 

Judging Criteria

  • Promote social awareness and volunteerism in relation to the work of Care Corner Singapore. Visit our website at www.carecorner.org.sg to check out our services.

  • Only English language is to be used in the video.

  • The length of video must not exceed 60 seconds.

  • Inclusion of Care Corner Singapore logo and website in the video. Please write to partner.us@carecorner.org.sg to obtain consent form prior to the usage of logo.

  • The relevance of the video with regards to the theme and to promote the work of Care Corner Singapore.

 

Submission

  • Closing date of competition is on 31 August 2019 at 23:59pm.

  • Only submission through the online registration form (www.carecorner.org.sg/ccsvc2019), with guided steps on the uploading of video, will be accepted.

  • Only one (1) video submission is allowed per individual participant or group participation.

  • Deliverables;

  • MP4 format with H.264 codec.

  • 16:9 format (1920 x 1080) with minimum 720 pixels is required.

  • Video to be posted on respective platform, Facebook and Instagram, are required with tagging of @carecornersg, #SVC2019 and your best caption of not more than 15 words. (Viewing privacy has to be set to public)
