With growing concerns on the welfare of latchkey kids in the early 90s, the government adopted the idea of a before-and-after school care centre (formerly known as ‘BASC’) to look after their interest.

Care Corner responded actively to the initiative by starting our first BASC centre in June 1999, which is now known as Care Corner Student Care Centre (Woodlands).

All of our student care centres provide quality before-and-after-school care for students between the ages of 7 to 14 years old. We strongly believe in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for the children to grow and develop. Every centre has capable guardians who will supervise the children's school work as well as provide necessary guidance in other aspects of their lives.

Special financial assistance schemes are available for underprivileged children. Care Corner has three student care centres located in Woodlands, Toa Payoh and Admiralty. A fourth school-based student care centre was set-up at Marsiling Primary School in February 2010.
