Care Corner Counselling Centre started operations in 1987 as the first counselling centre in Singapore that focused on serving the Mandarin-speaking community. With its dedication to providing good quality service, it soon became a member of the National Council of Social Service and was granted funding from the Community Chest since 1990. The centre is committed to a high quality of care and professional services and seeks to promote the well-being and growth of individuals and families through a network of services.
Supported by a team of administrative staff, our counsellors are experienced and qualified practitioners who adhere to strict ethical standards and confidentiality.

For students who are pursuing an education in counselling, we offer placement programmes for them to practice their counselling skills under the supervision of experienced counsellors. We also offer consultancy and training to organizations who wish to enhance the effectiveness of their clinical work.
5. Personality Test and Assessment
To assist individuals in the process of self-awareness, making career decisions or on relationship issues, the centre offers a personality assessment test (Taylor-Johnson Temperament Analysis) administered by qualified therapists. This instrument reveals personality traits that influence personal, social, marital, parental, family, academic and vocational adjustment. With the assistance of the counsellor, individuals can then make informed decisions that often have a lifelong impact.
