Care Corner Mandarin Counselling Centre is accepted as a member of the Community Chest of Singapore and an Affiliate Member of the National Council of Social Service.

Multi-Service Centre for the Elderly in Toa Payoh is established, later known as Care Corner Senior Day Centre (SDC).

Care Corner Family Service Centre (Woodlands) commences services in response to a lack of social service in that part of Singapore.

Care Corner Seniors Activity Centre (SAC) is established in Toa Payoh as a joint project with HDB and MCDS.

1st National Mandarin Counselling Conference organised by Care Corner Mandarin Counselling Centre.

Care Corner Student Care Centre (Woodlands) is set up by CCFSC (Woodlands) as an extension of the FSC to the Woodlands community.
